'I didn't really have a choice': Tiny kitten runs up to human on the street, immediately gets adopted, and gets the help she needed to have a second chance at living a happy life

It amazes us how still, despite of all of the information that is out there, despite of all the stories that we hear, some people are still surprised when they get adopted by a cat. It's as if we have not been telling you for years that yes, it's cats who adopt the humans and not the other way around. When you walk into a shelter, you may think that you will adopt a certain cat or kitten, but it is not actually your choice. You are walking in there to be vetted, and it is you who will be the lucky one if you walk out of there with a cat. 

That's not all people though. Some people have been paying attention. Some people know that when they get adopted by a fluffy feline, there is no point in arguing with it. They understand that one way or another, that feline will make their way into their home. So, really, it's better to just cave. It's either you take your new cat or your new cat will fine a way into your home on their own.

    She was at the entrance to my building, the moment I came out she ran over to me. And that's that. Now she lives here along with my other 3 cats.

    She is about 4 weeks old, has an inflammed respiratory system and her eyes stayed closed for about a week after I took her in, we are treating her daily and she is getting much better! Her name is Pompon

  • Truly, there is no point in fighting the Cat Distribution System. Once you're chosen, you're chosen. So this person did the only thing they could do. They knew, the meowment the saw this kitten running at them that their time has come, and they took on that responsibility seriously. More people like this please.

  • We would like to please ask for an update once a little time passes. We would love to see this little cutie open her eyes fully and become comfortable with her new life and new family. We are sure that this one will keep you occupied with her shenanigans, and we would love to be able to see them.

    Dull-Ad-1258 This poor little ragamuffin ! So glad you found her. I am guessing you are bottle feeding her at this point? So much work, but you seem to have the right heart for the task.
